i never felt comfortable doing just one thing.

i spent the early days of my career opening and cafes, restaurants and coffee roasting companies. i've worn many hats including owner, manager, coffee roaster, operations director and project manager. as a carpenter and woodworker i've designed and built many places of hospitality. and as an artist and musician my work always points toward care and reflection.

as my career progressed, i found that no matter what i was doing- whether i was designing a piece of furniture, taking care of a guest or developing a workflow-i love to helped others through the act of understanding and sharing our stories.

as i've grown in my love for the practice of hospitality, i found that my lifelong passion for photography culminated when i have the privilege of accompanying and capturing the stories of others that showcase their passion, authenticity and care for themselves and the world around them.

whether at home, a cafe or work,

whether alone, with close friends or large gatherings,

i absolutely love celebrating and remembering the things that connect us all
